• All Controls are cleaned, lubricated and made fully functional, to work smooth and perform perfectly.
  • Dial lights are replaced with brand new equivalents.
  • All electrolytic and paper capacitors are replaced with brand new capacitors, all original electrolytic capacitors that sit on top of the chassis are left in place, but replaced with new caps under the chassis.
  • Tuning dial and belts are replaced and dial pointer is realigned.
  • All components on chassis are checked and all loose, cold-solder components are resoldered and all out of tolerance components are replaced as needed.
  • All tubes are thoroughly checked and all weak tubes are replaced (Short Test, Emission Test & Gas Test have been performed).
  • All variable capacitors are adjusted to meet all original specs.
  • A brand new ac power cord is installed.
  • If necessary, radio's grill cloth is replaced with a reproduction.
  • All knobs, dial scale, dial pointer and dial glass cover are cleaned and polished.
  • Cabinet is completely refinished, using proper stains, grain filler, and toning lacquers.
  • Radio is fully tested to meet all original specifications.

  • All Switches and Controls are cleaned and lubricated, cleaning these controls involves removing the controls completely from the circuit board to do a thorough cleaning.
  • Display and stereo indicator bulbs, are replaced with new equivalents.
  • All inputs, outputs and functions are fully bench tested.
  • All loose, cold-solder joints especially on the input / output jacks, pots and switches are de-soldered and re-soldered.
  • All screws and nuts are tightened.
  • Regulator and Power supply board is adjusted for correct specified output, and all large electrolytic capacitors are checked for leakage.
  • Unit voltage regulator & output transistors are removed, cleaned of the old zinc oxide and new heat sink compound is re-applied, allowing transistors to run much cooler for a longer life.
  • All components are checked and all loose, cold-solder components are de-soldered and re-soldered.
  • All out of tolerance components are replaced as needed.
  • Phono and Tape inputs and outputs are tested.
  • Speaker protected relays are removed, cleaned and lubricated. A dirty relay causes increased distortion.
  • AM & FM section is adjusted and realigned, for optimum performance, as over the years the tuner must be aligned.
  • Tuning dial string and dial pointer are realigned.
  • Units DC offset and Bias Voltage is set and adjusted.
  • All knobs, faceplate, dial scale and dial glass cover are cleaned and polished.
  • Fully Restored both cosmetically and functionally.
